Almost 8 months ago I met a very special person. She had Gerbils and
they were very cute. If you don’t know what a Gerbil is I have set a picture so
you can see these cute little creatures. I started to like these animals and
for the time being I didn’t know about Chincilla’s yet. When my girlfriend
wanted a new Gerbil for breeding with her Gerbil called ‘Bliksem’ we came
across Chincilla’s in the petstore. I saw them and I almost wanted one
immediately. We spoke about them and I said that I want a couple of them later
(and with later a ment a few years). That was in june I guess. In august we are
looking for info on the Chincilla’s in general. We didn’t know any of these
animals. We made a deal that when we get a house in the future we would get a
couple of Chincilla’s for pet. What we didn’t know was that time flew by and
when I recently moved to my apartment we actually went to look for Chincilla’s.
We came across a site and made an appointment with the breeder of our
Chincilla’s. A few weeks later we went to her house to look and buy a couple of
chincilla’s. When we got them in our arms we were in love with them. Some weeks
later we got the cage, food and of course the youngsters to live with us in my
apartment. We fell in love instantly and as you can see in the pictures they
are great animals.
This is Solfer the Gerbil. More pictures of Gerbils can be found here C <Not Yet Active>
Hopefully you enjoy these pictures and their stories. This site is not
completed yet but a nice start I think.
Here they are, our
'little' pets. Enjoy the pictures and read their stories. When someone has cute
stories of questions I refer to the
ECO Website
Leila and Bran sitting in the cage. Leila
is a brown female and Bran is a Pink White with a cute dark face.
Here is Bran, sitting in the couge. To keep him still for this picture we used a little treat. It is a piece of sereal (Cornflake).
How cute!!!, this is Leila, the brown female. A wonder she got still for this picture cause she is very active when my girlfriend or I take here out of her cage. I think she needs more time to get to know us better.
Close-up of a cute face. She almost begs for kissing her. Nowadays she is making these noises like "oe-oe-oe" and this comes from inside. Sorry, I can't describe it but we arn't sure she makes it or her mate Bran. Mostly it is when they are sitting relaxed and we are watching TV. Maybe he or she is trying to get our attention and wants to be cuttled.
A little story of the Cornflake:
The Cornflakestory
When we were looking for Chincilla's by this very nice breedster, she told us we can give the Chins some treats. We thought of a piece of apple or raisin, She said to us we could give them some cornflakes and that they were very fond of them. A few days after we got the Chins home we tried to give Bran a piece. Very quicly he took it, so quicly my girlfriend almost lost her finger in the battle for this treat ( J ). We didn't thought of the fact they were very very fond of this piece of corn. This was the story af a corned flake.
This is all for now, be patient, more is to come later on. Send some replies to spyatnoon@hotmail.com
